The amount of power an engine can make is directly proportionate to the amount of air that can be drawn into cylinders. Therefore, increased air flow means increased power. Reducing the velocity increases the pressure (and therefore, the density) of the air (more molecules of air per cubic inch) increasing power.
The aerodynamics of the factory throttle body can be improved by installing an Air Charger. This easy, bolt-on modification streamlines the airflow cleanly around the center butterfly divider resulting in an overall increase in airflow through the engine. Reducing the turbulence inherent in the factory design results in enhanced mid and high RPM performance.
